My name is Craig Scott and I am the Principal and the Adviser in the business and after 26 memorable years in the advertising and production industry, I started an exciting new career as a financial adviser, at the beginning of July 2006!
I have always been interested in the financial services marketplace and a close friend, gave me the opportunity of working alongside him in his own financial services business. Therefore, during my spare time I set about studying for the full CeMAP qualification. I achieved this within one year, despite typically working a 60 hour week!
In the nine months leading up to a full-time role as an adviser, I spent most weekends in one-on-one training/skills sessions. I studied and learnt the topics covered during my spare time. During this time I was being assessed as a ‘fit and proper person’ to perform ‘controlled functions’. This was conducted by an independent compliance company. The company conducted a weekly review of my competence and my Continuous Professional Development and I was deemed ‘fit to perform controlled functions’ from the beginning of June 2006.
After working with my friend for a couple of years I decided the time was right to establish my own business, so on 1st June 2008 I established Frog. After experiencing how businesses in the financial services industry interacted with clients, I felt I could considerably improve my client’s experience of interacting with an adviser, by bringing my years of experience as client services director to the fore.

During my career in the advertising and production industry I most recently worked as an Account Director for Tag Worldwide.
Tag Worldwide is an international design and production agency dedicated to helping clients and agencies create, manage and deliver their brand messages across the world. Tag Worldwide employed over 600 personnel at offices in London, New York, Singapore and Cape Town and was the largest business of its type in the world with a turnover of £72,000,000 in 2006.
I was personally headhunted by the CEO of the Group to head up the Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) account, Tag’s largest single piece of business, at that time. Tag’s remit was to manage the production for their 47 brands, including RBS Bank, NatWest, Direct Line, Churchill Insurance, Privilege Insurance, Green Flag, Mint Card, Lombard Direct, First Active, Ulster Bank, etc.
Previously to Tag I worked as Client Services Director for Electronic Solutions (ES).
ES was the second largest design and production business in the UK with a turnover of £19,000,000 and pre-tax profits of £3,100,000. ES is part of the Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO Group (AMV BBDO), the UK’s number one advertising and media agency group. AMV BBDO is part of the Omnicom Group which is the world’s largest Media group.
Soon after joining ES I was invited to join the Board of Directors. In March 2002 I became Client Services Director for the entire business, responsible for all client relationships, direct and agency.
Notable clients I worked for included: Renault, MFI Furniture, Specsavers, Sainsbury’s, Pizza Hut, Clarks Shoes, Nicorette, Polaris World, BT and General Electric.
